This comprehensive textbook is written through the eyes of the learner to prepare them for professional government and not-for-profit accounting practice and the CPA exam.
The updated ninth edition now includes information on new GASB Statement 54, Fund Balance Reporting and Governmental Fund Type Definitions.
Im a for profit acctg major so i am very pleased to say this book breaks down the not for profit concepts very well. It has lots of examples, but i wished the chapter summary covered more of the chapter. Very well writte and easy to follow. Price from the amazion seller beats the college bookstore hands down.
Too much highlighting and writing to be titled as very good. If the labeling had been different then the condition would not have bothered me.
The time it took to ship was good. However, I was not expecting the binding to be broken. There are about 30 pages that are going to fall out any day now. I have to be very careful opening and closing the book to make sure I don't lose the pages.
My son needed this book for class. It was substantially cheaper on this website than it was in the bookstore. I advise everyone to look on this site for books before purchasing the same book at a college or university. There is usually a 20 to 30 percent markup on books at the colleges or universities.
