Cornerstones of Cost Management, 2nd Edition, Don R. Hansen

Introduce students to the how and the why of cost management with Hansen/Mowen's CORNERSTONES OF COST MANAGEMENT! This text provides a strong foundation with its unique step-by-step Cornerstones learning system and asks them to take understanding to the next level by getting at the conceptual understanding that students often struggle to grasp.

Review "I believe that the Cornerstones pedagogy is both unique and cutting edge."

"The book is a nice reference on the various tools that cost accounts use in costing, evaluating performance, planning, and decision making."

Depending upon the chapter, the reading can be pretty slow. I suppose that's the nature of the beast! The examples are really good for understanding computations, and overall I think the authors did a great job.
